Compliance with the basic fire safety regulations will make you feel safe and comfortable here. The SOCHI CASINO & RESORT is equipped with modern fire protection systems which in the event of a fire will help you evacuate the premises safely. In order to prevent a fire, the following activities are prohibited at SOCHI CASINO & RESORT:
- Smoking in
non-smokingareas (areas where smoking is permitted have a sign that says “Smoking Permitted” and have ash trays for your convenience)
- Throwing lit cigarette butts from balconies or into waste paper baskets
- Smoking in the elevators
- Using open flames (matches, candles, kerosene lamps)
- Bringing flammable and explosive materials onto the premises
In the event that a fire breaks out on the premises, the first thing you should do is inform the dispatcher by calling 01. When you call out the firefighters, be sure to tell the dispatcher where the fire is in as much detail as possible, for example, “There is a fire on the ground floor of the building, in the centre of the hall. Furniture is burning.”
If possible, try to extinguish the fire yourself using one of the fire hydrants (or fire extinguishers) located inside the building along the perimeter of the halls and in the corridors. It is safer to use fire extinguisher to extinguish fires of electrical equipment that uses a voltage of up to 1000 volts.
In your life is in danger, or at the request of a representative of the casino administration (for example, if there is thick smoke), if possible, leave the area where the fire has broken out and evacuate the building via the fire escape stairs. When evacuating, assist elderly people and women who may be in need of help. Follow the evacuation plan, direction signs, and illuminated “Exit” signs.
Do not panic! Remember that panicking during a fire could lead to casualties.
It is strictly forbidden to use the elevators during a fire!
