All the tournaments held during the festival were a great success as in some places people had to wait in line to register.
The first tournament was MEGASTACK with a buy-in of RUB 11,000, which set the tone for the rest of the festival. A total of 1,384 entries were recorded over the 3 starting days, an all-time record for Russia. And this is far from the limit, of course. The tournament was won by Sergey Terentyev, who received the PokerStars spade and RUB 2.35 million in prize money.
The main event, which consisted of three starting days on an experimental basis (the third day was only for those who took part in one of the starting days), generated 699 entries. Thus, the guarantee of RUB 30 million was easily surpassed, and the tournament’s prize fund totalled RUB 41.94 million. The tournament champion, Alexander Merzhvinsky, has already been called a new poker star in Russia. Just this autumn, he won a decent jackpot and was very close to victory. Now everything has come together — both a victory and an impressive prize amounting to RUB 7.7 million.
High roller tournaments were held at the festival simultaneously. In the finale, Kirill Rodionov knocked off several opponents in literally just a few hands and went home with the second most prestigious trophy at the PokerStars Festival Sochi. The prize fund was made up of 97 entries for a total of RUB 11,290,800.

We had it all! The super-macho Arthur Pirozhkov kept the temperatures soaring with his hot performances, and rivers of wine and fun flowed during the three-day Caucasian Captives winemaking festival.
And, of course, there were jackpots! In September, Casino Sochi guests won 27 «cats» as part of the Cat Jackpot promotion, walking away with a total of 41,531,818 roubles. Another 6,467,264 was won as part of our magic prize promotions.

During the game, David refused to settle for anything less than first place, but it was not meant to be on this occasion. He will walk away with 646,000 c.s.u. for his efforts.

The stats prove it — July was the most lucrative month for Casino Sochi guests, with more than 60 big-cash prizes of at least RUB 500,000 for a total of RUB 61,727,760 being given away.
The last day of July turned out to be particularly lucky, with three combos  out RUB 1,844,200, RUB 1,118,800 and RUB 1,024,000, respectively.
